What is TrustFill?
Self-serve AI that drafts answers to security questionnaires from your company’s evidence vault, with citations. You review, approve, and export — we don’t submit claims for you.
What’s included in the free trial?
Founding program: first 10 qualified B2B SaaS/software/technology companies get 60 days of full Starter access (up to 10 questionnaires/month) with no credit card and no automatic charge at day 60. Standard self-serve trial remains one questionnaire + one export. Founding conversion (opt-in only): $99/mo for the first 12 paid months or $990 for the first annual term; after that founding term, Starter is the standard list price $149/mo (or $1,490/yr) with advance notice. Growth and Scale pricing are unchanged. Human approval is always required before export.
Is the 60-day founding offer automatic billing?
No. At day 60 there is no surprise charge. You may opt in to founding conversion at $99/month for the first 12 paid months or $990 for the first annual term. After that founding term, Starter renews at the standard list price ($149/month or $1,490/year) with advance notice. If you do not continue, paid functionality stops. Testimonials, logos, and reviews are never required for free access.
Do you guarantee compliance?
No. TrustFill is draft + cite + human approve. Answers without evidence are marked UNVERIFIED. You remain accountable for what you submit. TrustFill does not replace your security or compliance team.
Is TrustFill SOC 2 certified?
Do not treat TrustFill as SOC 2 certified unless an independent report is published on /security. TrustFill helps you draft questionnaire answers from your evidence; it is not itself a certification body and does not claim SOC 2 certification on this FAQ.
How do citations work?
When a draft answer is supported, TrustFill attaches a citation back to the evidence vault source (or sources) used for that claim. You can open the citation and inspect the excerpt before approving. What does UNVERIFIED mean?
UNVERIFIED means the vault did not support a claim, so TrustFill does not invent a yes. The row stays visible for a human to add evidence, answer honestly, escalate, or hold. UNVERIFIED rows remain explicit on export. See /examples and the interactive /demo.
Is human review required?
Yes before export that represents your company. TrustFill never auto-submits answers to a buyer portal. Reviewers edit, approve, or hold rows — including supported drafts and UNVERIFIED gaps.
Does TrustFill train public AI models on my data?
Customer evidence is used to draft answers for your workspace. TrustFill does not use your vault to train public foundation models. Processing may call third-party LLM APIs under our processors — see /privacy (AI section) and /security for current data-handling detail.
Do I need a sales call?
No. Self-serve path: interactive /demo or /book-demo → pricing → Stripe checkout → account. Prefer email? hello@gettrustfill.com — we read it. A call is never required to start.
Is TrustFill a full GRC / Trust Center platform?
No. One job: fill vendor security questionnaires with cited drafts. We don’t replace policy management, continuous control monitoring, or buyer-facing trust centers.
What file types work?
Questionnaires: CSV, XLSX, TXT, or pasted question lists. Evidence: any file plus pasted/extracted text for retrieval. PDF questionnaire parsing is limited in MVP — paste text or convert to CSV/XLSX.
How do annual and Rush Fill work?
Plans are self-serve monthly or annual (annual saves 2 months). Rush Fill is a $1,500 one-time add-on: a human reviews the AI draft asynchronously within ~2 business days — no meeting required. Buy from Billing or email hello@gettrustfill.com for a deadline sheet.
When is export unlocked?
Trial includes one export. Further exports require an active Starter, Growth, or Scale subscription (monthly or annual).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel from Billing in the app (Stripe Customer Portal). Annual plans are prepaid for the year; monthly plans stop at period end.
What is your refund policy?
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or an express written exception — see /terms. Refunds and exceptional billing corrections are handled manually by TrustFill finance (CFO path), not by an automated in-app refund button. Email hello@gettrustfill.com for billing help.
What about Rush Fill?
Add-on for deadline questionnaires: $1,500 flat; a human reviews the AI draft asynchronously within ~2 business days. No meeting required. Email hello@gettrustfill.com or buy from Billing after signup.
Where does my evidence live?
In your TrustFill workspace database (hosted on our cloud). Upload only docs you’re allowed to store with a vendor. See /privacy and /security for retention and access notes.
How is this different from manual Excel reuse?
Manual reuse copies last year’s cells. TrustFill drafts from your evidence vault with citations and UNVERIFIED flags for gaps. See /compare/manual-vs-trustfill for a side-by-side.
Can TrustFill automate SIG Lite, CAIQ, and custom Excel questionnaires?
Yes for drafting. Upload SIG Lite, CAIQ, or a buyer’s Excel/CSV; TrustFill retrieves from your evidence vault and drafts cited answers. You still approve and submit in the buyer’s portal — we don’t auto-submit claims.
What is security questionnaire automation (without inventing answers)?
Real automation means retrieve → draft → cite → human approve. If evidence is missing, the answer is marked UNVERIFIED instead of a confident yes. See /blog/security-questionnaire-automation for the full playbook.
